Crystalann Jones has been acting and singing throughout
her life. She began singing on stage at the age of nine. By the age of
18, she started her voiceover career in radio and television
commercials. In her early 20's, she had lead roles in several local
films. Her most notable film role was as the lead in MEAT FOR SATAN'S
ICEBOX (distributed by Troma.) Crystalann was also the former front
person of a few local rock bands. There are at least three CD's that
feature her vocals as a lead singer
and as background vocals. She has done some modeling on the side and
has appeared on a couple of book covers, CD covers and other
miscellaneous projects. Currently she is attending Point Point
University on a full academic scholarship with aspirations of a degree
in Interdisciplinary Linguistics and Arts and Global Cultural Studies. She has studied 7
1/2 years of French, 2 years of German, 2 years of Spanish and a year of
Arabic and has made four extensive trips to Europe in order to improve
her fluency in French. Crystalann has also dabbled in studying
Italian, Urdu, Korean
and Hindi. Among the major foreign cities that she has spent time in
include Paris (four
times), Dublin, London, Milan, Quebec,
and Montreal. Miss Jones is
exceedingly excited about her current involvement with Mysterys Most
Wanted where she performs live in a murder mystery
dinner theater setting.
She considers herself primarily a linguist and secondarily an actor and
singer.
Her future plans include teaching languages in foreign lands, continuing
her education, making another full-length CD and continuing with her
acting in films and in live performances.
She has a passion for helping animals and has volunteered her time at
local shelters.
